What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 for basic usage stats: which pages you visit, approximate location at the city or region level, and device type. We also record when you actively complete a valid calculation, once per tool on each page visit. That calculator usage event contains the tool's name; it does not contain the numbers you enter or the result. Default calculations shown on page load and visits to our preview sites do not trigger this event.

Calculations run in your browser. We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses and referrers configured for our GA4 tracking. If a link contains calculator values in its URL, the browser still sends that URL when opening the page, and anyone you share the link with can read it. Remove those values before sharing if you want to keep them private. Google and other third-party services handle their own data collection under their policies.

Ads and cookies

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads, and Google Analytics sets analytics cookies. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at optout.aboutads.info. For how Google handles data from sites like this one, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Third parties

Google Analytics 4 (usage stats) and Google AdSense (ads) are the third parties on this site right now. Future affiliate partners will be added to this list as they go live, not buried in a separate document.
